Client: Moshcam films the best gigs you’ve ever been to and the ones you wish you saw. They’ve captured over 1,500 full-length concerts and interviewed the biggest names in the music biz. Each month Moshcam reaches millions of live music fans across the globe.
Challenge: A growing majority of Moshcam’s traffic was coming from tablet and mobile devices. Without a responsive website they were beginning to see an increase in bounce rates and a drop in session times.
Solution: Moshcam required a new responsive website to showcase their content to a multi-device world, reach a wider audience and continue to lead the way in live music video.

Clear navigation options help users filter their way through a sea of ever growing content. Large thumbnails for each gig or special feature create an image rich interface for users to explore. The discovery process is sped up with a ‘Give me more’ call to action that never seems to end.
Maximum space is provided for videos to be played in all their glory, responding to the users browser dimensions. A right hand side navigation allows users to select a new song from the set list or switch tabs to a Facebook commenting section. Related content, built on a backend tagging system, allows user journeys to be continued to other relevant sections of the website.
Building the player from the ground up allowed control over every aspect, including ad rolls and a special feature that let users add videos to a playlist.
Moshcam members can add their favourite songs to customised playlists. Dragging a track from the set list activates a fly out panel where users can simply drop it into the desired playlist.
Moshcam is built on a fluid responsive framework and delivers an adaptive mobile experience. This technique allowed for better performance when delivering images and videos.
It’s free to enjoy and they’re always adding new content. So if you’re into live music you should check it out www.moshcam.com
